![]() Applies to Droppy itself… if you drop something on Droppy, THEN save the textfile you already have open in notepad you will lose the new information from Droppy… because you just overwrote it with an outdated copy! whatever you save last will be the current textfile. This is complicated by the ability to invoke many copies of notepad under Droppy. be aware, that if you modify and save the textfile in notepad, there is a possibility of destroying/overwriting your textfile… this is the same as any case of multiple access to a single file. when loading a bitmap as a skin, the window remains the same size… so if your bitmap exceeds this size… you will not see all of it. #Droppy checkout software#some other software can cause problems with Droppy In this case simply restart Droppy, no data is lost from your datafile. on rare occasions the software can crash after an item has been dropped. having trouble win95/98… not sure yet what the problem is. Makes a burp sound affect more appropriate. currently the soundfile is played before the data is copied… probably should do this after copy completed. New version plays sound effect upon drop. If other software is interfering with the clipboard, the dot will not show… see below (known issues) the dots line up and give you some idea of how many items you have dropped during the session. gives the window its size, else default.Ī small dot, either red or green acknowledges the drop… green if you dragged the item, red if you dropped the current clipboard content. left click in the Droppy window copies the contents of the clipboard to the textfile. can drag and drop filenames and other dragable text. Droppy stays on top of all windows… unless you minimise. so you can, in effect have multiple Droppy text files and copies of Droppy running, managed that way. The text file generated by Droppy is located on disk depending on where the program is run from… the current working directory at the time.
